Hamelin Gold Expands Strategic Footprint at Venus Project. #FrizeMedia https://buff.ly/tQCjvz3

Hamelin Gold has significantly bolstered its exploration prospects with the commencement of on-ground activities at its Venus gold project, following the grant of a second exploration licence.

This key development expands the company's total tenure at the project to 300 square kilometres, solidifying its position as one of the premier tenement holders in Western Australia's renowned Murchison district.

The expanded land package provides a substantial platform for systematic exploration across a highly prospective geological setting.

The project's strategic location greatly enhances its discovery potential. Situated approximately 15 kilometres south-east of Cue, the Venus project lies just 10 kilometres east of Caprice Resources' significant Island Gold discovery.

Furthermore, it is positioned to the south-west of the major Comet and Tuckabianna gold corridors, both of which host historically prolific, multi-million-ounce gold deposits.

This advantageous placement within a proven gold-bearing region provides compelling exploration analogues and underscores the high-grade potential of Hamelin Gold's ground.

The newly granted licence, E58/644, covers the interpreted southern extension of the Tuckabianna shear zone. The company is now finalising plans for a heritage survey across multiple targets within the project area, scheduled for completion in February 2026.

This will pave the way for the inaugural drilling programme at Venus, expected to commence shortly after the survey. Read more...
