Eating healthy means nourishing your body with a variety of nutrients daily. In fact, your body requires 40 different nutrients to function at its best! While that may sound overwhelming, these nutrients can be grouped into key categories to make it easier to plan a balanced diet.  

 1. Water: The Foundation of Life

These include vitamins and minerals, needed in smaller quantities but crucial for immunity, bone health, and more. Examples:  

- Vitamin C (citrus fruits, bell peppers)  

- Calcium (dairy, leafy greens)  

- Iron (red meat, spinach)  

 Why Balanced Nutrition Matters  

A well-rounded diet ensures you get all 40 nutrients. Instead of counting each one, focus on:  

✔ Eating a variety of whole foods (fruits, veggies, lean proteins, whole grains).  

✔ Limiting processed foods (high in sugar, salt, and unhealthy fats).
