Founders Metals Significantly Expands Antino Gold Project with Strategic Land Acquisition in Suriname. #FrizeMedia https://buff.ly/3ibGvmp

Founders Metals has significantly bolstered its footprint in Suriname by finalizing the acquisition of a 36,000-hectare exploration concession situated directly west of its flagship Antino gold project in the country’s southeast.

This strategic move expands the total area of the Antino project to 56,000 hectares, effectively eliminating previous boundary limitations that had restricted exploration activities.

With this expanded land package, the company can now advance its exploration strategy, particularly by resuming northwestward drilling at the Upper Antino zone, an area previously highlighted by historical auger data as exhibiting high-grade gold potential.

The acquisition, which follows a letter of intent signed just last month, underscores Founders Metals’ commitment to unlocking the full resource value of the Antino district through systematic and unimpeded exploration.

Colin Padget, President and CEO of Founders Metals, stated: “This is a pivotal moment for Founders. In just the past two weeks, we’ve secured a C$50 million (approximately $35.48 million) strategic investment from Gold Fields, expanded the Antino land package to 56,000 hectares, and, based on today’s results, shown outstanding along-strike and progressive expansion of gold mineralisation at Upper Antino.” Read more...
