UAE, India Significantly Boost Trade Ties.

During an official visit to Mumbai, UAE Minister of Foreign Trade Dr. Thani Al Zeyoudi hailed the substantial growth in non-oil trade between the UAE and India, which reached $37.6 billion in the first half of 2025, a remarkable 33.9% increase compared to the same period last year.

He emphasized that this surge is a direct outcome of the UAE-India Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA), which came into force in 2022, and reflects the two nations’ shared economic goals and untapped potential.

Throughout his visit, Dr. Al Zeyoudi met with Indian Minister Piyush Goyal and engaged with business leaders across sectors such as logistics, agriculture, healthcare, and technology to explore ways to expand market access and deepen investment flows.

He was also briefed on Bharat Mart, a major trading hub in Jebel Ali designed to help Indian exporters reach global markets.

The trip reinforced the commitment to strengthening public and private sector collaboration, leveraging complementary strengths to foster mutual prosperity and long-term economic cooperation. Read more UAE Headlines here https://buff.ly/DHfaHjn
