Legacy Minerals Electrifies Exploration Strategy with High-Resolution DDIP Survey at Mt Carrington. #FrizeMedia https://buff.ly/bKB02Lu

In a decisive move to de-risk and accelerate its exploration pipeline, Legacy Minerals has mobilized a comprehensive ground-based geophysical campaign across its flagship Mt Carrington project in New South Wales, with the high-grade Battery and Mascotte prospects serving as the primary focal points.

This fresh survey initiative represents a significant tactical shift from broad-brush regional exploration to precision targeting, as the company deploys the dipole-dipole induced polarisation (DDIP) method across a sprawling land package that includes exploration licences EL6273, EL9616, EL9727, and ALA75.

By casting this geophysical net over multiple tenements in one coordinated campaign, Legacy is not only seeking to confirm and extend known mineralized trends but also to uncover blind, chargeable sulfide bodies that may have eluded previous, less sophisticated surveys.

The sheer scale of the covered area underscores the company's commitment to systematically unlocking the district-scale potential of Mt Carrington, which has long been recognized for its epithermal gold-silver and base metal endowment.

Field operations are now firmly underway under the technical stewardship of Fender Geophysics, whose crew has already commenced the painstaking process of running six strategically engineered DDIP lines directly over the strike extensions of established mineralized zones.

These carefully positioned traverses are no mere routine grid-filling exercises; rather, they are calibrated to slice perpendicularly through the known geological architecture, capturing critical resistivity and chargeability contrasts that can distinguish between barren host rocks and economically viable sulfide mineralization.

The resultant subsurface models will provide Legacy's geological team with a high-resolution 3D framework of the ore-forming systems, effectively acting as a roadmap to pinpoint the most compelling drill-ready targets.

With the survey data expected to flow swiftly into interpretation, the company is positioning itself to refine its drill-hole collar locations with surgical accuracy, ensuring that the upcoming drilling programs, already on the horizon, are executed with maximum efficiency and the highest possible probability of intersecting new, high-grade shoots beneath the weathered cover.

Legacy Minerals’ CEO and managing director, Christopher Byrne, has underscored the importance of the newly initiated DDIP survey across the Battery and Mascotte prospects, describing it as a pivotal step toward unlocking their full potential. Byrne noted that the technical team has observed strong indications of a well-developed epithermal gold-silver system at Mascotte, coupled with a potentially extensive and fertile copper system at Battery.
