Dalaroo Metals Unveils District-Scale Critical Minerals Discovery at Greenland’s Blue Lagoon. #FrizeMedia https://buff.ly/eVBDWFR

Dalaroo Metals has announced a landmark breakthrough from its inaugural 2025 exploration campaign at the wholly owned Blue Lagoon project in Greenland, unearthing a district-scale system enriched with critical minerals including zirconium, hafnium, and rare earth elements (REEs).

Spanning an impressive 2.7, kilometre strike, this newly identified mineralised corridor marks a significant leap forward in the search for high-demand materials essential to modern technologies such as renewable energy systems, electric vehicles, and defence applications.

The scale and continuity of the anomaly suggest that Blue Lagoon may host a previously unrecognised geological province, with preliminary surface sampling and geophysical surveys indicating that the mineralised zone remains open in multiple directions.

For Dalaroo, this discovery not only validates the prospectivity of the region but also positions the company as a key player in the race to secure non-Chinese sources of critical raw materials.

Building on these encouraging early results, Dalaroo Metals is now accelerating its follow-up work programme, which includes targeted drilling, detailed geochemical sampling, and high-resolution magnetic surveys to define the full extent and grade of the system.

The presence of zirconium and hafnium, both classified as critical by numerous governments due to their use in corrosion-resistant alloys and nuclear control rods, alongside magnetically favourable REEs, adds substantial strategic value to the project.

Greenland’s relatively underexplored terrain offers a frontier opportunity for district-scale discoveries, and Dalaroo’s systematic approach aims to de-risk the Blue Lagoon asset rapidly.

With global demand for critical minerals soaring and supply chains under intense scrutiny, this discovery could evolve into a cornerstone asset, potentially reshaping the company’s trajectory and contributing to Western supply chain resilience in the years ahead. Read more...
